Stories from real customers of Resting Paws Pet Cemetery & Crematorium Inc.

Just wanted to thank you all again for the great service and empathy and care toward my beloved Midnight. It was beyond appreciated.

I recently had to euthanize our cat Cocotte. She had a long life with us… for 17 years she gave us love and happiness. I contacted Resting Paws who took care of the cremation, as they did last year for Cocotte’s brother Biscuit. For the second time, Resting Paws gave me an excellent and compassionate service.

Thank you!

Cancer took away my little empress cat Sissi six weeks ago. On her veterinarian Dr. Lachance’s recommendation I contacted Resting Paws for possible arrangements. Though wary before my call to the company’s French-speaking agent Catherine, I was deeply touched by her consideration for losing my companion of 13 years. She took the time to listen to me while I could barely talked between my tears. She explained what Resting Paws could do for both Sissi and me and guided me gently to the best choice for us. According to my wishes they cremated my Sissi on June 25 last and respected my ardent wish to place into the urn alongside her ashes the collar she wore all her life with me. I know they did because I can hear the delicate rattling of the identification medallions hanging down it, as they did when she was alive and moving around. I picked up her urn yesterday at the vet. I was overwhelmed, not only by its quality and elegance, but also and foremost by the care it was presented to me with. Indeed, in the bag there was my baby’s urn sitting at the bottom of an elegant recyclable paper bag, an official cremation certificate and a beautifully, yet sober handmade card with a comforting poem below which three caring humans had signed their names.

So to Patrick, Sabine and Damien, as well as Catherine of course, all my most grateful thanks. You all made those trying circumstances bearable. Now I feel at peace along my sweet baby’s ashes in this lovely bamboo urn where she’s resting as well.

Dear Patrick, Catherine, Sabine and Damien,
Brian and I are deeply grateful for your kindness and compassion, the dignity and respect you showed to our dearest Yoffi, and for your support and humanity. Yesterday was so difficult. But you all made it so much easier, as did your two wonderful dogs.  And the beautiful setting that you provide and nurture brought us a sense of comfort and peace.
And thank you as well for the lovely, thoughtful card tucked into our bag, which we discovered when we unpacked last night. The words there are lovely.
We look forward to visiting again when Yoffi’s marker is ready and to being there in the fall for the blue spruce planting, which will be such a suitable way to memorialize our Little One.
With all our very best wishes and our appreciation,
Rona and Brian

Saying goodbye to a pet is the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, but I’m thankful for Resting Paws for ensuring our cat’s cremation was handled with care. Catherine was so kind on the phone and kept in constant communication in helping plan our appointment. Damien met us at the facility when we brought Charlie in and was so kind and understanding. He allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye and we received the kindest card after the service. We waited for Charlie’s ashes on a bench on the property and Patrick stopped by to say hello and his adorable dogs, Roxy & Diego, gave us cuddles to help us in the difficult time. Every single team member helped make a horrible loss bearable that day.

I cannot say thank you enough for the service you provide. Thank you.
